Personally I think the stretched aspect ratio sucks and would recommend using keep aspect ratio with black bars, but have a party if you like it. The 'remember position' setting only remembers the location of the window, not the size you stretched it to, so changing the options and relaunching will cause the window to be default resolution again. When I enable window extras and captured mouse at the same time, I'm not able to grab the edge of the window to resize it (from inside the game window the mouse can't leave, and tabbing out to free the mouse causes the window to disappear). I recommend using fullscreen for this, since I'm not sure if you can get captured mouse in windowed mode with a manually resized window. Note that the top border acts as the title bar to move the window and the title bar itself doesn't do anything. Drag the window wherever you like and resize it to your liking. Launch the game using a shortcut as described above in the fullscreen section. You probably also want to go to the Compatibility tab and check Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows Vista (Service Pack 2) You can also add the parameters -sndbkg -skiptobnet after -3dfx if you want sound when tabbed out of the game and to skip the blizzard logo intro when you start the game. ![]() Go to settings.Ĭlick Quit and launch the game using a shortcut (make a shortcut to Diablo II.exe -> rclick -> properties -> Shortcut tab) with the Target: Last updated at 14:00:17 UTC Weekly Help Desk RAGE Loot Thread Trade Threadįor Sven's Wrapper, launch glide-init.exe.
